The Importance of Integration in Medical Education

Most physicians graduate without really understanding the brain and the nervous system because it's just too much to jam pack. I think that if we are going to move into changing the medical education, then you're looking at maybe an eight year trajectory of med school. Changing the curriculum and university settings is taking somewhere in the ballpark of 15 to 20 years. So everything is so behind still, it's absurd.
