The Obsessive Mind in the Design and Building of the House

When we opened the IMS, this was in 1976, we just had our 40th anniversary. For the first 13 years, I lived in the center and sometimes I had to switch rooms because people needed it. So through the amazing generosity of one particular student and friend, she actually offered a house to build a house for myself and my colleague Sharon Salzburg. The house is too nice. Dharma teachers shouldn't be living in such a nice house. Maybe I'll move out and give it to the staff. It might be unacknowledged worry orunacknowledged fear or anxiety.
