The Cost of Avoidance
We have this problem. If a nonhuman animal tries to avoid something, they can avoid it by the stimulus situation that your history gives some diversive function. And so we've got this generalization happening in ways we can't control. We start doing logical, reasonable, sensible and pathological things which actually only elaborate the network. You know, when I was struggling with panic, I mean, I could put fear in almost any situation. It was regardless of formal properties.
