Dual Antiplatelet Therapy for Intracranial Atherosclerosis
Dr. Jasney: For the purposes of your exam, our clinical guidelines do say that first stroke felt to be caused by intracranial atherosclerotic disease. A 90-day course, a three-month course of dual antiplatelet with aspirin plus copitigrel is a reasonable option. And so that would be a reasonable thing for you to answer in clinical practice or on your exams perhaps.
