In Gabriel, Walter Houston plays Judd Hammond, an American politician who has just been inaugurated as president of the United States. Early in the film, Hammond takes a presidential limo on a high-speed joyride for some reason and he gets into a catastrophic crash. When President Hammond comes to, he is a changed man. He sits silently in his hospital bed reading and thinking he's no longer so slick.
