The FDA's Decision to Close Rodin and Fields Cosmetics
The FDA felt that Rodin and Fields wasn't being very dishonest because they violated fraudulent and unfair marketing practices. The first one I remember was Jan Merini she had a product an eyelash product that got seized by the FDA like two million dollars in inventory but there was another product called revital lash which were all sort of knockoffs of latisse and so you can see it would be motivated to crack down on some of these cosmetic products that are using a drug but aren't actually saying they are yeah no bueno especially for consumers.
