The Importance of Embracing the User

We see not doing the expected thing first time as failure. We strive for making things universally usable and understandable. But that goal of trying to make something usable and understandable for all people in all situations isn't possible. So many times I've heard that actually if you design for a specific target group, that will become a vastly popular service also for people outside the target group.
