The Pillsbury Doe Boy Afraid Of
Pillsbury bought Hagenas, so they own them. They went to independent ice cream distributors who were distributing all sorts of different brands and told them that if those distributors continued to deliver Ben and Jerry's that they wouldn't sell them Hagenas anymore. Did it start to cut into your sales? Well, you know, we recognized that this was a real threat. Plus it, it seemed like it was illegal that, that it was a restraint of trade that Pillsbury was controlling the marketplace.
