I think part of it comes from people not understanding what the actual Participation of a manager is in our advanced society today. There's a lot more agency in the employees Than they want to admit and so that makes them anxious, right? And there's a certain level at which they understand that there's a kind of hype or spin in what they're doing that it's not really real. So just understanding what is the function of a manager being able to Come to terms with that and see that it's beneficial.
