The Implications of Inert Witnessing

I think that in some ways, inert witnessing, passive witnessing, mindfulness alone has become overvalued. We are not just mindful of the body, we are body full of mind. It is the body that is producing the mind and certainly inside the natural frame without referring yet to anything supernatural or transcendental. So if we want to help things get better, we actually need to face the implications of embodiment. And that's a process that's physical at bottom. The brain doesn't just change on its own. Merely witnessing, a stream of consciousness, does not itself release the crud floating down that stream,. nor does merely witnessing the stream of consciousness increase the food stuff to flow down
