Is That What You're Trying to Tell Me?

When i first practised with the disarming technique, after i invented it, i spent two months practising it, 30 minutes every day. I would say what is some possible criticism a patient could say to me that i couldn't possibly agree with, cause it's so preposterous? And then i would work on it and work on it until i could figure out what was, what was true about it. The bottom line is, when you agree with someone who's been critical of you, it justa transform arms the interaction - they'll typically stop believing the criticism.
