The NVIDIA-AMD Divide in Mindshare and Market Share
The divide is so strong and so large now between NVIDIA and AMD's GPU offerings in terms of mindshare and market share, that kind of NVIDIA has been doing its own thing for almost two generations. Intel is the only one at this current moment in time who could perhaps make leeway in the market like they have with a A750 or A770. The top end performer in the stack is basically extremely powerful and it does set the tone for basically the entire stack even when you produce misfire products. And I think AMD needs to set the tone to actually get mind share back.
