The Importance of Nonviolent Political Economy

I'm not venerating remilitarization. I agree with the many downsides of it, et cetera. But there is a potential argument where you start to see a more egalitarian political economy going hand in hand with remilitarized societies. And we can get the same type of evolution of sociality and cooperation without killing people. So that's my model. We need competition between societies but what we need as humanity as a whole is to put that competition into nonviolent forms.
