The Status Hierarchy Is Built Up Out of a Response to Curiosity

The problem with curiosity itself is that it lends itself to bad status hierarchies. People are always seeking to be in touch with curious people, so this is one of the things you can say. Curiosity has a mythical positive status wher we view it as like a fundamental good thing about a person. If your like, i'm very smart and interesting, people are going to be wary of you because, oh, you think you're so great. But if you say, i'm dumb and boring, then they're also knocking what? Right?
