The Decision to Stay Self-Funded

ButcherBox has a mission of transforming meat. We agree with those that say the way these animals are being raised, the way that they're being treated is not sustainable. The longer we've gone, the more I'm like, you know, this might be my life's work. And so for us to believe that we can build an iconic food brand in under 10 years isn't really feasible.
