i agree that language follo civilization probably isn't real. I think our brains more plastic than that. And overtime, you can correct your accent. But i think a imparticularits like grammar structures that you grammar structures, and the way you use words, might fossilize more than your actual accent. I think accent is more malleable, and you can change that. But when it comes to thik, grammar structures, they can get set. It's just not the way people speak. We say time's up, or something like that. So because they're saying time's finished, and i'm hearing it all the time, i get used to that. And
