The polarized training model is based on observation of what elite athletes are doing. It's not necessarily making any kind of like profound, you know, cataclysmic new insights or saying this is what people are doing. If you listen to your breathing and you understand, can you talk or not at these different phases? Oh, 100%. I mean, this is what Mike Smith means by moving oxygen. Like, this is why he is not distracted during workouts. He's listening to athletes, lab degree of labor in their breath in between intervals,. The more labored the breath, the closer or further beyond the analog threshold you are. And that's what it is.
