The Application Crisis, What's Driving the Application Crisis?

The effectiveness of a statistical method does matter. If I run enough experiments, I'm eventually going to find something significant,. Even if there's no effect whatsoever. And so all of these things play into the replication crisis. So while it's clear what the effect is and why this is bad, it's not clear how to remedy the situation.
