How Social Support Can Help You Make and Keep Goals
Social support first of all is very important. Especially when you are starting something foreign, it is really highly recommended that you pair with somebody who knows what they are doing. Once you have lots of weight or you are becoming fitter, people start to become more distant from each other. When that competition starts to happen, it can be counterproductive for the goal pursuit process. At the end of the day, it is not a competition. We are all just trying to get healthier.
