How Do You Come Across the Ideas That You Come Up With?

David has been doing this job now since 2008 so essentially like I've got a really long work document where I just keep a record of every like interesting paper that I come across. It kind of is normally you know the reference because the title often tells you enough maybe just like a couple of sentences or bullet points just kind of pinning down kind of what I found interesting and then you know how it links to other stuff. So yeah that's what I do because I read a lot of scientific journals which isn't always fun but like I do think it's necessary to keep on top of what's going on.
