The Fed's Decision to Rake Interest Rates
Smart banks are going to have a less heart because they do a good job hedging the fact that the Fed told them in December of 2021 that we are going to be raising interest rates. I think even medium-sized and smaller banks have access to figuring out how to hedge some of the interest rates risk. If rates go high enough, deposits will flee. Will the yield curve normalize? At some point it will. The whole thing started with power suddenly implying that we might go 50.
