The Future of Political Instability

Do you think the past is a good indicator of the future in terms of political instability for the West? Not directly. I'm against making direct historical now, just with any particular events in the past. That's very amenable to cherry peaking and other problems. But the models that we have developed and tested on historical material can help us understand where we are and where we can and where we should go. So it's not pure, theoretical cycles. It's more a woman bust type of dynamics.
