How to Close a Deal on $48 Million

In September of 2015, we closed on $48 million. 20 of it from one family, 10 of it from a fund of funds. That's used to the travel budget for my most dramatic wedding. So that was nine months of slogging it away, getting a deal done. We still had 150 million to go raise.
