The Importance of Internal Family Systems in Psychotherapy
IFS is it stands for internal family systems and it's a model of psychotherapy that has the assumption that we are all multiple. The idea is that there are different parts of ourselves that have different ideas. And so in IFS, what we learn to do as practitioners or psychotherapists is you learn how to be with your own internal family system. In short, a practitioner is someone who helps people work with the different parts of themselves and trusting.
