What Are Constructed Retainers?

A conditioned reinforcer is something that you have learned to like, or you have learned is a signal for something that you want. This is actually the normal way you do it when you're training an animal - with a clicker. The important thing about the clicking is the timing. For instance, if you want your dog to do a back flip and then the dog does a back flip, then the right time to click is in the middle of the back flips. And this is what I was saying before about the whistle with the dolphins. When they jump through a hoop, you click at a point which tells them exactly what it gives the best information about what in their behavior has merited
