The 12th us is produced by yours truly. Our theme music is made by Nathan McKay and our wonderful editing is done by softer sound studios. We'd so appreciate if you left a five star review on Apple or Spotify. Let them know what you like about the podcast, what you look forward to. It really helps us get discovered by other people. And also you get additional content every month, a little audio course teaching you on something that we're working through.
Welcome to another Friday Philosophy episode where we consider a different mental model, investigate our favorite frameworks, and muse on the creative habits and rituals of people we admire.
If you missed it, catch up on pt. 1 of our 13 Rules for Squiggly Brained Witches (pt.1) here.
Today is part two of this series where we’ll be sharing rules 8-13 and how we came up with them as defining principles which have transformed how we engage with our sacred work.
In this episode, we explore rules 8-13 ...
8. MAKE PARADOXICAL MOVES*. *A PARADOXICAL MOVE IS SIMPLY A RADICAL CHANGE IN PERSPECTIVE
9. YOU CAN DO ANYTHING BUT YOU CAN'T DO EVERYTHING (RIGHT NOW). HOW YOU SPEND YOUR TIME TELLS YOU A LOT ABOUT WHAT YOUR PRIORITIES ARE. YOUR ACTIONS ILLUMINATE YOUR IDENTITY.
10. ACCEPT THE QUEST, TRUST THE JOURNEY, EMBODY THE ARCHETYPE. DON'T FUTURE TRIP OR GET LOST IN SUFFERING.
11. QUESTION YOUR BOUNDARIES, PERCEIVED AND IMAGINED.
12. WHENEVER POSSIBLE, CREATE AN ELEVEN-STAR EXPERIENCE. FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR PEOPLE. (IT’S MORE FUN TO HAVE FUN. CHOOSE THE BETTER STORY.)
13. RADICALLY COMMIT TO THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE. ASCENSION IS OVERRATED
