Mindfulness of Feeling Tone
Our mental models of the world are coloured by what is called feeling tone. Feeling tone gives both direction and urgency to the possible action, as it contains within it most of our past conditioning. As mindful, as teacher joseph goldstein says, mindfulness of feeling tone is one of the master keys that reveals and unlocks the deepest patterns of our conditioning. With practice, we can reduce the urgency and change direction, but we need to take it step by step.
