Self-care seems to be one of those activities that is so hard to do unless we have to. We're compelled by need and it makes me think about people mostly practicing relaxed breathing when they're really feeling anxious. It's harder to practice something when we don't need it, to do it just because we know it's in the long run a good thing to do for ourselves. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
