We're Going to Bend the Emissions Curve by 2030, Right?
If all signatories to the Paris Accord implement all their pledges, that's where we'll get to. In annual in 2030, the annual emissions will be 52 gigatons of CO2 equivalent for all greenhouse gases. And it basically tells us that we'll still blow through 1.5 degrees,. That's 1.5 increase in above its pre-industrial era. We're going to blow through that, unfortunately. The median estimate for global warming by 2100 is 2.5 degrees.
