Finding Strength in Weak Ties
Jordan Harbinger: I love the term network science because it sounds better than networking. One concept that stuck out to me was finding strength in weak ties. A weak tie is a person you sort of know but don't really know that well. The other is a dormant tie, which is someone who has moved locations or changed jobs. Most people can pick a lot of low hanging fruit just by making it a point to reengage with them.
