How to Cut an Apple in Half

I find it more efficient to actually cut down alongside the core, kind of avoiding it and you cut off what I call it like a lobe. And then you have this like rectangular thing of like the core, which I also been, I nibble on because there's like bits of apple at the stem end in the bottom. It does lead to more like shrinking of the filling because the bigger the pieces, the bigger the air daps between the slices literally just press down on the apples inside the crust and compact them.
