A lot of runners out there like doing calf raises, okay? Calf muscles are strong and they attach to your tennis tendin. And so we want to make sure those muscles can work well to push off. The posterior tibial insufficiency test is a gateway to training the foot in loaded positions or not. If you fail that test, if you can't do 20 calf raises without your rear foot collapsing on your forefoot, we're not doing anything at all with your heel come up off the floor. Why?
