Boredom is a state of mind, one of my favourite experiences. Most effective way to respond to boredom is to get interested in it. Tin was doing a long retreat, and her job at the time was to put away waste food. To be there with that er, really feeling present, meant that previously would have been seeing as an unpleasant experience,. wasn't isn't there in that way.
