How to Run Tall Without Your Back Shifting

Most runners think about their arm swing is always reaching out in front of them which is not what we want. Most runners need to do a better job again their posterior chain out their anterior chain so muscles in the back side of their body versus the front side they tend to be dominant with. When you bring your elbows closer into your torso so that arm swing instead of front to midline becomes more backwards to midline you cue yourself to contact closer to your body and that's the same thing as changing the cadence.
