Felicia: Discrimination only really happens when people don't actually know you, and they're sort of judging you just on the surface. I realize that my internal narrative is always going to be the most important thing. And even in proximity, some of the most well meaning people don't get it right? Felicia: Even absent the felony, just being a black man in america, there's a very particular narrative around who we are.
