A year after the paint and cabin creek strike had finally ended. Many of those tents that had been used by the striking miners, many of em covered with patched up bullet holes, were taken to southern colorado for use by striking miners there. The boys at cabin creek caused a little trouble for some time, longer, but then they accepted the deal as well, and they agreed to go back to work. Miners in the region had a new sense of independence because they not only stood up to the companies, but had defied the state government and even their own union leadership.
