The Ethics of Hierarchical Polyamory

Some people argue that when it's hierarchical, and there's one primary partner, that it can't truly be ethical. So I want to qualify how different people define hierarchy in the first place. Non-hierarchical polyamory would be where you have more than one partner, and they're all considered to be equally primary. There's no distinction between them in that case.
