How to Be a Better Combat Designer

I learned that if I'm going to ever make a game about combat again okay we're gonna have to get a different designer to do it the designer who loves it. on there now but not with dungeon crawling and not on like with very clear like American esque themes and setting and whatever. There are various reasons why I think at this moment at least it's allowed to be slightly blind to to certain conventions that have popped up in the more dedicated genre. Maybe it'd be different if I started working on a on a boyfriend engine too I don't know rightOkay so what else what did what other did you learn like going through the whole process with boyfriend engine things you might might differently like
