How to Limit the Playability of a Game
The programmer side of me wants to say that okay, if it crashes, we will try to fix it. The big struggle with physics is often that people don't recognize the systems that they're breaking like in spelunky when you kill the ghost with the lava. It's obvious because you're interacting with a system that is already in your head as rules. But the weird thing about physics is that itlike the glorious part of it is that it's this incredibly complicated system that we have an intuitive understanding of. And so when you're a player, you're not thinking of it as a rule based system and so when it breaks, sometimes you're not expecting itbecause it actually is
