Reevaluating Education for Gen Z

This chapter examines the discontent and low confidence levels of Gen Z regarding public education in the U.S. It draws on a national survey to reveal how many students feel unprepared for their futures and the pressing need for educational reform that prioritizes student voices and practical learning experiences. The chapter advocates for a reimagined K-12 curriculum that addresses the diverse needs and aspirations of all students, regardless of their post-secondary plans.
