The Importance of Cooking in a Homestay
I did a homestan Argentina where when you study abroad and you live with a family there. I lived with like my homestays assigned to this woman who lived alone and she was very old. Part of the sort of thing with the homestay was that they were supposed to cook for you. She would just like boil a potato and like leave that for me and be like that's your dinner yeah. That whole experience was full of interesting cultural learnings doing thehomestay.
