Pulmonary arterial hypertension has an insidious onset, and most commonly, the symptoms that accompany it are very subtle. It starts with disnia on exertion, and can present with fatigue as well. As the pressures rise in the pulmonary vasculature and the right heart comes under increasing strain, you can start to see signs and symptoms of heart failure.
