If if I could put a billboard around the world for every product manager and product marketer to see, it would say, talk to your customers. So that post was written as a sort of a summary of a really good book I highly recommend by a guy named Anthony Olwick. He created a process called Outcome Driven Innovation. And outcomes are the metrics that customers use to measure how well a product performs a job.
