The Importance of Eating First in the Morning
I've been huge on fasting because it made such a difference for me. I get more energy, I feel more productive and the food tastes better after you fast. It trains your dopamine system, actually. The dopamine system is all about work, then reward. If you give yourself reward with no work, you're not training yourself to be a very successful person. So with fasting, you wake up, you have that tough period of that five hour fast, and then you get the reward. And so you are building that association, you know, a little bit of short-term pain for long-term gain.
