The Bottom Up Solutions to Misinformation
I don't think the majority of people care about misinformation or polarization, any of these kinds of issues. And I don't think that polarization is even as big a problem as it's being made out to be. The statistics are telling us that although disinformation has increased exponentially and even the New York Times is telling us that real world violence has decreased. Not because of real world violence but because it decreases the predictive power of human beings. If you believe things that are false then you're better at predicting the future. For me, the main value of truth is in its ability to predict the future.
