In a negotiation, by definition, you really have to think about what the other side wants. The only way you're going to get them on board is to care about their interests. Most of your interaction with other people, friends, and even within hierarchies are negotiations. You don't have like one set rules that you use at work and another set of rules at home.
In this episode, we sit down with negotiation expert Misha Glouberman who explains how to talk to people about things -- that is, how to avoid the pitfalls associated with debate when two or more people attempt to come to an agreement that will be mutually beneficial.
