The Difference Between Growth Mode and Growth Mode

I think like there's something to be said about being able to spend a lot of times in deep focus. But that's why you see a lot of people they have training camps because you're not able to sustain that level of work rate and degree of focus for forever or at least indefinitely. With that said, do you try to deliberately spend certain amounts of time in performance mode versus in growth mode? Is it all keyed around the camps that you've got coming up? I'd like to explore how deliberate you are in terms of deciding when to flip the switch and go from one mode to the other.
