The Right Decision Isn't Always to Do the Thing

In your model, the right decision isn't always to do the thing. So if you're travelling and you wanted to exercise, but you didn't sleep, it might be a good idea to forego that workout. You say there are four things that get in the way of making a skilful decision. Can you talk us through those four? Sure. But before i do that, i'm going back to having some type of plan when people are learning how to create the consistent decision making that underlies sustain ability. It takes time for people to develop that. And so having plans in place is important.
