The Future of Status Match

Airlines have created a whole industry of status match, where people and with things like name image and likeness coming to the fore. It's interesting because at some level without that reassurance, would you be unwilling to transact at all? In other words, would I fly a lot less if I didn't have the confidence of knowing that there's someone there who has my back? So it works in both directions. You see, for that matter, Amazon is extremely generous if you have an item that fails to turn up. They can't afford to do that to a first time customer as they haven't bought them yet.
