How to Be Grateful for Traumatic Experiences
Having experienced trauma has impacted my gratitude for life. The ones I am most grateful for are the traumatic ones. Having PTSD was no fun, but every emotion is the raw material for its opposite. If you want resiliency and joy and gratitude and compassion, recovering from trauma is the way to go.
